Booking Information & Covid 19 Guest Requirements

You can book your holiday online using our online booking widgets to match your availability. We will do our best to provide you with a price for your holiday online, and sometimes there are special offers on which will be reflected in the price.

Once you have made your booking online we will confirm via email that your booking has been successful and then let you know when your balance is due. 

Our friendly and knowledgeable reservations team are based on our park and can therefore answer any questions regarding our properties and help find the right accommodation for your individual needs. We've been working exceptionally hard since re opening after the initial lockdown to incorporate new systems into the running of Golden Bay to keep our guests, team and the local community safe.

We have introduced fogging (disinfecting using a walk-through mist system) of each property in-between changeovers, installed a dish washer station so all kitchen equipment, crockery and cutlery in a property without a dishwasher are taken away in between changeovers and passed through and many more proactive measures and precautions besides.

We are confident that our guests, staff and local community find this service invaluable for peace of mind are committed to investing in these practices for as long as Covid possesses a risk. 

We are however no longer asking guests to follow the guest requirements’ as previous, however we may in the future need to reintroduce these measures if government guidelines change. 

 
In the meantime;
 
 

To carry out our enhanced cleaning regime, we have temporarily removed non-essential items which are difficult to clean. Please look through the below inventory and feel free to bring with you any additional items. (Returning these additional items may not be possible so please remember to take them with you on departure.)

We do recommend that guests take out holiday insurance including coronavirus cover as we cannot refund any monies or transfer any holidays due to Covid 19. 


Pre-arrival:
Please let us have your vehicle registration number(s) and give us an approximate eta for yourselves.

On arrival please:
Feel free to park in our top car park from 2pm ahead of your check in time which will be between 4.00pm and 7.00pm. This may be subject to change.

. Please stay in your vehicle and a member of our team will be out to greet you (if we're not there within a couple of minutes, call us on 01237 474161) and we can give you an approximate time your property will be ready.

. We cannot currently welcome guests into our reception, instead please make contact with Reception by phone, you will be asked to confirm a few details and directed to your property where you will find your key.

. Part of your inventory will be delivered to those properties without a dishwasher on the day of arrival. Please store the packaging of these items in the outer plastic crate and re-pack them ready for removal on departure. If between arrival and departure the plastic crate is in your way, contact Reception and it will be stored for you until your day of departure.

On departure please:
. Bag up all your laundry into the laundry bags provided (they may be dropped off the day before departure).

. Vacate your property by 9.00am to allow for extra cleaning time.

. Leave ALL your windows open (unless it is very windy/rainy), repack the plastic crate and take all waste and re-cycling to nearest recycling point.

. Leave your key in the property.

. Notify Reception by phone OR email on check out that no-one has been ill in the accommodation and that the accommodation has been left ventilated.
